Welcome to the Cambridge University Cruising Club

Welcome to the Cambridge University sailing website. Although our name might suggest that we are a dedicated 'big boat' club, the Cruising Club is a normal university sailing club with sections organising Team Racing, Dinghy Sailing (training, social sailing and fleet racing), and Windsurfing for members of Cambridge University, plus a further section maintaining a news blog and organising social events for alumni. Yachting ('big boat' stuff), formerly a section of the Club, is now a separate University club in its own right - the Cambridge University Yacht Club.

Sailors of all abilities are welcome, from people used to competing at the highest levels of the sport, through those who are more than happy with a short sail followed by a trip to the pub, to those who have never set foot in a boat before and are looking for training. Cambridge sailing offers a huge variety of opportunities - there will definitely be something for you!
